A family-owned automotive dealership in Charleston, SC is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle systems efficiently, while communicating with customers about service needs. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of automotive repair experience and a valid driver's license. Qualifications

• 2+ years of Automotive Service Repair experience required.
• KIA or Hyundai certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor for customer updates.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of Automotive Service Repair required
• KIA or Hyundai certifications/experience highly preferred but not required
• ASE Certifications highly preferred but, not required
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities:

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
