Job summary

You will haul materials across job sites, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain detailed delivery records while coordinating with dispatch and site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries. A strong work ethic and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required (must have held license for two years).
• Clean MVR with a safe driving history.
• 1 year dump truck or heavy equipment driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service (HOS) compliance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump truck safely and efficiently for material hauling and delivery across job sites in the Charlotte, NC area
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Load and unload materials including dirt, gravel, sand, and construction debris
• Communicate with dispatchers and site supervisors to coordinate timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate driver logs, trip reports, and delivery documentation
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies on every route
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or mechanical issues promptly
