Job summary

Royer’s flowers & gifts is seeking EXPERIENCED FLORAL DESIGNERS to join our team on an intermittent, as-needed basis during floral holidays and other busy periods. The role involves creating fresh flower designs in-store, assisting customers, and supporting seasonal demand at our Chambersburg location.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of floral industry experience, can stand for long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work independently with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Able to design according to specifications.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3-years floral industry experience.
• Able to stand for up to 8-10 hours.
• Knowledge of the many different varieties of fresh flowers.
• Able to make decisions, communicate effectively, take direction and work unsupervised.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

SCHEDULE

• Employee will work as needed, based on a mutually agreed number of hours per day and days per week, and will vary based on business needs throughout the year.
• Hours will be scheduled during floral holidays.
• Overtime may be scheduled, based on availability.
