Responsibilities

• Install, level, align, and secure kitchen cabinetry.
• Perform cabinet modifications and custom fitting in the field.
• Install base, wall, and pantry cabinets.
• Install crown molding, toe kicks, and trim.
• Perform detailed finish carpentry.
• Adjust cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
• Install soft-close hinges and drawer slides.
• Install knobs, pulls, and cabinet hardware.
• Measure, cut, and make field adjustments.
• Read measurements and basic plans/layouts.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized jobsite.

NOW HIRING – EXPERIENCED KITCHEN REMODELING CARPENTER / CABINET INSTALLER Kitchen Tune-Up – Beaufort, SC

Kitchen Tune-Up is looking for an experienced, skilled carpenter / cabinet installer to join our growing remodeling team.

We are looking for a true craftsman who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and can independently perform high-quality cabinet installation, cabinet modifications, finish carpentry, and general kitchen remodeling work.

This is not an entry-level position. We need someone with hands‑on carpentry and remodeling experience who can step onto a jobsite, understand the work that needs to be accomplished, and complete it professionally, accurately, and efficiently.

Responsibilities & Required Skills

• Install, level, align, and secure kitchen cabinetry
• Perform cabinet modifications and custom fitting in the field
• Install and modify base, wall, and pantry cabinets
• Install crown molding, light rail, toe kicks, shoe molding, fillers, finished panels, and trim
• Perform detailed finish carpentry
• Install and adjust cabinet doors and drawer fronts
• Install and adjust soft-close hinges and drawer slides
• Install knobs, pulls, and other cabinet hardware
• Install rollout trays and cabinet storage accessories
• Accurately measure, cut, fit, and make field adjustments
• Read measurements and basic plans/layouts
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and develop practical solutions
• Perform general kitchen remodeling and punch‑list work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite

Tools & Transportation

Kitchen Tune-Up provides the tools required to perform the job. Experienced carpenters are also welcome to use their own personal tools when preferred.

Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Weekends Off

$20–$30 per hour, based on experience and skill level
