A Place At Home - The Woodlands is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to support seniors and adults with daily living activities in clients’ homes. You’ll apply safe transfer techniques and provide compassionate, non-medical care tailored to each client’s plan.

The role emphasizes mobility assistance, personal care, and reliable, respectful service. Flexible hours are available, with a focus on dignity and safety in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) Per ID required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of caregiving experience.
• Proven experience with safe transfers and mobility assistance.
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics and fall prevention.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and negative TB test.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Perform safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet) using proper techniques.
• Support mobility and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up).
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical).
• Follow care plans and communicate updates with the care team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for clients.

Position Overview

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support to seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living activities. This role requires experience with personal care and safe transfer techniques to ensure client safety and comfort at all times.

Key Responsibilities
