A Place At Home, LLC is seeking an in-home caregiver in California to support seniors with daily living activities. The role requires hands-on personal care and safe transfer techniques to ensure client safety and comfort in the home.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and non-medical medication reminders. Flexible part-time and full-time shifts are available within a caring, patient-focused team.

Qualifications

• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) Per ID required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of caregiving experience.
• Proven experience with safe transfers and mobility assistance.
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics and fall prevention.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and negative TB test.
• Strong communication, reliable, and independent work ethic.

Position Overview

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support to seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living activities. This role requires experience with personal care and safe transfer techniques to ensure client safety and comfort at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Perform safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet) using proper techniques
• Support mobility and fall prevention
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up)
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical)
• Follow care plans and communicate updates with the care team
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for clients

Required Qualifications
