A Place At Home is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to support seniors and adults with activities of daily living in a non‑medical capacity. You will assist with personal care and ensure safe transfers, helping clients stay comfortable and independent.

Qualifications

• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) Per ID required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of caregiving experience.
• Proven experience with safe transfers and mobility assistance.
• Knowledge of body mechanics and fall prevention.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
• Perform safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet) using proper techniques.
• Support mobility and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up).

Position Overview

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support to seniors and adults who need assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This role requires experience with personal care and safe transfer techniques to ensure client safety and comfort at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
