Job summary

Visiting Angels Eastside WA is hiring an Experienced Caregiver to serve clients across the Greater King County area, including Sammamish. You will perform personal care, transportation support, meal prep, and companionship, following each client's care plan.

Opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer's care are available. The role offers flexible schedules, competitive wages ($18.00–$22.00 per hour) and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with light housekeeping and cooking while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards (background check).
• Compassion and a desire to brighten each client's day.

Responsibilities

As a Visiting Angels Experienced Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Experienced Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must

• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
