Job summary

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP in Houston seeks an experienced Business Litigation Counsel to join our team. This off-track role features a reduced billable-hour requirement with no expectation for business development or firm management responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years as a practicing litigator in complex business disputes, strong civil procedure knowledge, and demonstrated deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a practicing litigator in connection with complex business disputes.
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice.
• Excellent understanding of civil procedure.
• Experience in taking and defending depositions.
• Managing and/or supervising litigation cases.
• Significant courtroom experience.
• Experience with complex motion practice.
• Must be admitted to the Texas bar or eligible for immediate admission.
• Excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
