Job summary

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks an experienced Business Litigation Counsel to join its Houston, Texas office. This is an off-track Counsel position with a reduced billable-hour requirement and no expectation for business development or firm management responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience handling complex business disputes, extensive civil procedure knowledge, and strong deposition and courtroom experience, with eligibility for Texas bar admission.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a practicing litigator in complex business disputes.
• Excellent understanding of civil procedure and motion practice.
• Experience taking and defending depositions; managing litigation and courtroom work.
• Must be admitted to the Texas bar or eligible for immediate admission.

• Candidates must have an excellent understanding of civil procedure, experience in taking and defending depositions, managing and/or supervising litigation cases, as well as significant court room experience.
• Must be admitted to the Texas bar or eligible for immediate admission.
• Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills, including complex motion practice and interacting with clients.
