Job summary

CareOne Senior Care in West Bloomfield, MI seeks an experienced caregiver or CNA to provide specialized in-home care for a bedbound client. The role requires hands-on caregiving, including Hoyer lift use, tube feeding, and ADL assistance, with compassionate, individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Hands-on caregiving experience.
• Experience using a Hoyer lift.
• Experience assisting with tube feeding.
• Experience providing personal care and ADL assistance.
• Experience with range-of-motion exercises.
• Ability to follow the client's care plan and safety procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to complete the required background screening.
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one before employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene).
• Safely transfer and reposition using a Hoyer lift.
• Provide tube-feeding assistance as per care plan and training.
• Perform prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
• Support bed positioning and client comfort.
• Monitor comfort and changes in condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal-related needs per the plan.
• Complete required shift documentation.
• Communicate concerns and updates to the office and care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
