Job summary

Mission Audio Video, a leading custom AV integrator based in Santa Barbara, is seeking an experienced Installation Technician with 5+ years of on-site experience. You will install and service residential and commercial AV systems, handling low and high-voltage wiring while integrating home automation and theater setups.

Strong IT/network understanding and excellent communication with clients and tradespeople are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of on-site AV installation experience.
Proficiency with both low- and high-voltage systems.
Knowledge of construction wiring methods.
Familiarity with electronic components, network systems, and programming.
Strong IT/network infrastructure understanding.
Able to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Install and service custom AV systems in residential and commercial settings.
Work with low and high-voltage systems, following proper wiring methods for both new and existing construction.
Integrate and configure home automation, theater systems, distributed audio, and AV setups.
Understand network architecture and perform basic system programming.
Communicate effectively with clients and tradespeople.
Utilize critical thinking to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
