Job summary

Midas - Touch of Gold in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a skilled automotive technician for a busy shop with guaranteed hours and a pay range of $60K-$100K+ per year. We provide weekly bonuses, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You must be able to repair vehicles independently and in a team, with experience on brakes, exhausts, suspensions, engines, and diagnostics. Candidates should have a high school diploma or better, state certifications, a valid license, and their own tools;

Qualifications

• Repair vehicles independently and in a team setting.
• Knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics.
• High personal productivity with safety and environmental compliance.
• State auto repair certifications and valid driver's license required.
• Own tools preferred; experience with diagnostic scanners a plus.
• Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles.

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
• Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics
• Track record of high personal productivity
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus
• State-specific auto repair certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)
• Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
