Job summary

Midas - Touch of Gold in Crawfordsville, IN is actively seeking an experienced automotive technician to repair vehicles independently and as part of a team. The shop offers guaranteed hours and a pay range of $60K-$100K+ per year, with billed-hour incentives and weekly bonuses.

The role requires knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics, plus hands-on use of lifts, alignment machines, and scan tools. A valid driver's license and own tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
• Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics.
• Track record of high personal productivity.
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools.
• High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus
• State-specific auto repair certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)
• Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
