At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience. Our Dublin location is one of the top-performing stores in the country and has been serving the community since 1987.

We are looking for technicians who can work independently while also collaborating with peers. We have a 9 Bay full-service facility and are looking for high-quality people to help us maintain and build on an environment of success. Ideally, you are a team player who takes pride in your work and wants to earn a good income. If you have worked at shops like Firestone, Big O, Wheel Works, and are an efficient technician, you should have no problems being at the upper end of the pay scale.

Responsibilities

You will be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various makes and models of vehicles, including:

1. Diagnostics
2. Car heating and air conditioning
3. Steering and suspension
4. Belts and hoses
5. Radiator and engine cooling systems
6. Batteries, starting, and charging
7. Brakes and brake repair
8. Oil changes
9. Check engine light
10. Mufflers and exhaust services
11. Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

1. Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
2. Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics
3. Track record of high personal productivity
4. Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
5. Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
6. High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus
7. Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
8. Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
