Job summary

Haley Volvo Midlothian is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced shop. You will perform diagnostic tests, repair or replace parts, and maintain records while communicating vehicle needs to customers.

Minimum 2 years in the field, high school diploma, valid driver's license; preferred ASE certification, associate degree, and Volvo/GM certification. We offer strong pay, benefits, relocation assistance.

• Preference for ASE certification and Volvo/GM certifications.
• Experience with computer diagnostics systems is preferred.

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Technicians to join the Haley Volvo Midlothian team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will work closely with other team members to provide high-quality service to our customers. Your expertise and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
• Abilitytodiagnose andrepairawiderangeof vehicleissues
• Strong attentionto detail and problem-solving skills
• High Schooldiplomaorequivalent
• Valid and clean driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Automotive Technology
• Master Mechanic **
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
• Certification with Volvo, Toyota, GM, Ford, or CDJR
• State Inspection License
• Experiencewith computerdiagnosticsystems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
