Jay Hatfield Auto Group in Ponca City, OK seeks an Experienced Service Technician to join our growing team. You will perform work on repair orders, diagnose repairs needed, and communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, certifications, and ongoing growth within a family-owned shop with a strong emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ASE and state inspection certification preferred.
• Strong automotive background and maintenance knowledge.
• Willing to submit to a drug screening.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as listed on repair orders with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering and brakes.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional work and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications and prepare for certifications as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and present a professional appearance.
