Job summary

Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater, FL is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at a hundred-year family-owned dealership. We offer a team environment, great benefits, ongoing training and support.

Responsibilities include presenting and selling required services, building rapport with customers, greeting customers, providing accurate repair estimates, and coordinating repair times with technicians.

Qualifications

• Only experienced service advisors will be considered
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license
• Must have a good driving record
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• GM experience a plus!
• Absolute honesty and integrity
• A clean, well-groomed and professional appearance
• An upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
• A strong, reliable and punctual work ethic
• Possess a sense of urgency
• Willingness and ability to learn proven processes

Responsibilities

• Present and sell needed products, and or, services to the customer in a professional manner while adhering to the manufacturer's published maintenance schedule and requirements
• Build rapport with the customer to promote customer satisfaction and customer retention
• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain pertinent vehicle information
• Advise customers on the care and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
• Generate and provide customer with a complete and accurate estimate of repair
• Establish and communicate completion time of repair with customer and technician
• Follow prescribed procedures for customer post follow-up
• Have the ability to be an active listener and effectively communicate

Skills
