Midas in Roseville is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor with strong sales skills to build lasting customer relationships. You will use RO Writer to write service estimates, explain repairs, and convert recommendations into approved work.

We value a friendly, professional demeanor, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple repair orders in a busy shop. This is a full-time on-site role with room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service advisor or service-writing experience is required.

• Proven experience selling automotive repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers from start to finish: greet, listen, schedule, and inform throughout repair process.
• Write accurate estimates and repair orders using RO Writer, documenting concerns and pricing.
• Sell automotive repairs and maintenance; explain findings and help prioritize repairs.
• Coordinate with technicians and management; communicate approved work and progress.
• Build repeat business by following up on estimates and completed repairs with honest recommendations.
• Stay organized: maintain records, review invoices, and support checkout while pursuing sales goals.

Schedule:

8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., five days per week. Sundays and one weekday off. Saturday availability is required.

What You’ll Do

• Assist customers from start to finish. Greet customers, listen to their concerns, schedule appointments, and keep them informed throughout the repair process.
• Write accurate estimates and repair orders using RO Writer. Clearly document customer concerns, recommended services, pricing, and repair authorizations.
• Sell automotive repairs and maintenance. Explain technician findings in an understandable way, help customers prioritize repairs, answer questions, and confidently ask for the sale.
• Coordinate with technicians and management. Communicate approved work, monitor repair progress, and set realistic expectations for completion times.
• Build repeat business. Follow up on estimates and completed repairs, address concerns professionally, and earn customer trust through honest recommendations and dependable service.
• Stay organized and accountable. Maintain accurate records, review invoices, assist with checkout, and work toward personal sales goals without sacrificing service quality.

What We’re Looking For

Compensation & Growth

We offer $50,000–$70,000 in annual compensation, with a bonus structure based on your personal sales. Compensation will be discussed based on your experience and qualifications, and the specific bonus terms will be reviewed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule

Our shop is open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. This position works five days per week, with every Sunday and one weekday off.
