Job summary

Grease Monkey International is seeking an Experienced Technician B in Edmond, OK. The role involves performing brakes, rotors, fluid exchanges, oil changes, transmissions, cooling system maintenance, tire services, and related preventive maintenance tasks.

You will communicate with customers to educate on maintenance needs and may assist with courtesy services and tire work. You are paid an hourly rate plus a commission percentage standard across the company, and you will maintain tool safety

Qualifications

Three or more years related experience or training.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
Ability to write routine tickets and notes.
Effective communication with customers.
Valid driver’s license and applicable state certifications.
ASE certifications are a plus.
State Vehicle Inspector Certification may apply in your state.

Responsibilities

Perform work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
Handle more complex repairs and diagnostics than a Tech C, including electrical systems and minor engine work.
Assist Tech A and train Tech C when needed.
Repair brakes, A/C, transmissions, steering, suspension.
Inspect vehicles to determine safety or service needs.
Document all work and test drive as required.
Keep shop areas clean and organized.
