Jim Shorkey Auto Group in Uniontown is hiring a full-time Automotive Technician for our brand-new Service Center. We’re seeking experienced, driven, and passionate technicians to join our Kia team in Uniontown.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of hands-on experience, Kia certification is a huge plus, ASE certification preferred, and own a set of tools. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training in a modern, air-conditioned shop.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience
Kia certified is a huge plus
Experience with used vehicles; Kia or other OEM certifications are a huge bonus
ASE Certification preferred
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
Team player with a customer-first mindset
Valid driver’s license and your own tools
A strong desire to succeed and grow

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems: engines, brakes, suspension, transmission, A/C, and more.
Perform high-quality service and repairs that meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
Communicate clearly with service advisors on repair status and recommendations.
Stay sharp with ongoing training and the latest diagnostic tools.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
