Jim Shorkey Auto Group in Uniontown, PA is seeking an Experienced Auto Technician to join our growing Kia service team. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, follow dealer standards, and communicate with service advisors to keep repairs on track.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience (certifications a plus!)
• Kia certified is a huge plus
• Experience with used vehicles; Kia or other OEM certifications are a huge bonus
• ASE Certification preferred
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Team player with a customer-first mindset
• Valid driver’s license and own tools

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems to dealership and manufacturer standards
• Communicate clearly with service advisors on repair status and recommendations
• Stay current with ongoing training and the latest diagnostic tools

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems: engines, brakes, suspension, transmission, A/C, and more.
• Perform high-quality service and repairs that meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors on repair status and recommendations.
• Stay sharp with ongoing training and the latest diagnostic tools.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
