Jim Shorkey Auto Group in Uniontown is hiring a full-time Automotive Technician for our brand-new Service Center. We’re seeking experienced, driven, and passionate technicians to join our Kia team in Uniontown.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of hands-on experience, Kia certification is a huge plus, ASE certification preferred, and own a set of tools. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training in a modern, air-conditioned shop.

• 2+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience
• Kia certified is a huge plus
• Experience with used vehicles; Kia or other OEM certifications are a huge bonus
• ASE Certification preferred
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Team player with a customer-first mindset
• Valid driver’s license and your own tools
• A strong desire to succeed and grow

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems: engines, brakes, suspension, transmission, A/C, and more.
• Perform high-quality service and repairs that meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors on repair status and recommendations.
• Stay sharp with ongoing training and the latest diagnostic tools.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
