This position may be filled at the Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician level based on experience, qualifications, technical capabilities, and certifications. Senior and Master Technician positions may include coaching, mentoring, and technical leadership responsibilities.
Technician: $24.00 - $26.500/hr. Senior Technician: $26.50 - $29.50/hr. Master Technician: $29.00 - $32.25/hr.
Actual compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, geographic market, and internal equity.
Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety, quality and exceptional customer service. Clean customer vehicles after every job. Recalibrating automotive safety systems, including trouble-shooting and completing diagnostic testing. Proficiently operate Safelite’s tools and technologies, including: True Seal®, Ezi-Wire™, Glass Table System (GTS), chemicals (as required bv the “Safelite Way of Fitting”, work order and customer administration systems, and Safelite's handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology. Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday. Communicate with all scheduled customers in-person, via text, and on the phone; present, promote and sell Safelite promotional items and services to customers. Senior and Master Technician levels will serve as a technical resource, support technician development, share best practices, and assist with coaching and mentoring activities.
