Weinstein Spira is seeking an Experienced Audit Associate for the Houston, TX location. You will join a team performing fieldwork activities and contribute to issuing final audit wrap-ups.

You will mentor interns and collaborate closely with in-charges and managers, while expanding your knowledge of audit and accounting standards and seeking value-added opportunities for clients.

Formación

• Master's or bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA; 3.5 preferred.
• Completion of all requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
• At least one busy season of Public Accounting experience in financial statement auditing, preferably with a Big4 or mid-market firm.

As an Experienced Audit Associate, you will work with the team in the fieldwork phase of the audits and assist with the final issuance and wrap up. In addition to continually improving your technical competency you will:

Qualifications: The position requires:

• At least one busy season of Public Accounting experience in financial statement auditing, preferably with a Big4 or mid-market firm
• Master's or bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 3.0 GPA. 3.50 preferred
• Completion of all requirements to sit for the CPA exam
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Ability to work well in a team environment
