Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen is seeking an Experienced Audit Associate to service nonprofit clients in Wisconsin, with locations in Madison and Milwaukee. You will perform significant audit and assurance engagements, build client relationships, and contribute to close personal attention to client needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CPA or CPA eligibility preferred, and about 1 year of related experience; travel to client sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience in professional services required (completed internship(s) may qualify).
• Ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.
• Audit complex areas or transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Schedule, delegate, and review the work of staff.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Keep Manager or Principal informed of engagement status and issues.
• Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information for timely engagement wrap-up.

As an Experienced Audit Associate, you will perform significant audit and other assurance engagements for our clients, build relationships, and assure continued close personal attention to their needs.
