CliftonLarsonAllen is hiring an Experienced Audit Associate to service nonprofit clients in North Carolina. This in-office role is based out of NC offices, performing audits and related assurance engagements with a focus on client relationships and timely engagement wrap-up.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 1 year of relevant experience, and CPA eligibility or CPA status is preferred. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience in professional services required (completed internships may qualify)

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.
• Audit complex areas or transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Schedule, delegate, and review the work of staff.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Keep Manager or Principal informed of engagement status and issues.
• Proactively interact and communicate with clients to ensure timely engagement wrap-up.

CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP is hiring an Experienced Audit Associate to service our Nonprofit clients in North Carolina. As an Experienced Audit Associate, you will perform significant audit and other assurance engagements for our clients, build relationships, and assure continued close personal attention to their needs. CLA auditors get the footing they need to step confidently into leadership positions and more specialized practice areas. This position will be and in-office role based out of any one of our North Carolina offices.

How you'll create opportunities in this Experienced Audit Associate role:

• Ability to travel to client sites which may also require infrequent overnight travel.
