Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in Southern Minnesota (Mankato area) seeks an Experienced Audit Associate. You will perform audit procedures, prepare financial statements, and help train interns while servicing diverse clients across industries.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA eligibility, and at least one year in public accounting or professional services. Tax exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA license or eligible to sit for CPA exams and 150 credit hours.
• At least 1 year of experience in public accounting or professional services.
• College graduate or entry-level with exposure to financial statements, audits, and reviews.
• Exposure to tax work is a plus.

• Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and reports.
• Develop and train interns to build inspired careers.
• Work with clients to resolve complex issues and deliver results.

CLA is currently seeking an Experienced Audit Associate to join our growing Southern MN practice and locations include Mankato, Rochester and Owatonna.

As an Experienced Audit Associate you will:

• Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.
• Audit complex areas/transactions as well as prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Develop and train team interns to help them build inspired careers.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.
• Perform analytical reviews on financial accounts and identify trends.

This is what successful candidates for this role have:

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• You have a CPA license or are eligible to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150 credit hour requirement to obtain a CPA License.
• You have at least one year of experience in public accounting and/or a professional services firm preferred.
• College graduate or demonstrated success as an entry-level accountant with an exposure to financial statement preparation, audits, and reviews.
• You can demonstrate that you’ve excelled as an entry-level accountant or intern and have been exposed to financial statement preparation and audits.
• Exposure to tax work a plus.

Compensation Strategy

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. The Minnesota Posting Range for this role is $53,700 to $93,000 #LI-NG1
