Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) seeks a Tax Senior Associate for our Northern Minnesota offices, including St. Cloud, Alexandria, Monticello and Brainerd.

You will prepare, supervise, and review tax engagements for individuals, C corps, S corps, and partnerships, while partnering with clients on advisory needs and complex issues. The role emphasizes engagement management, team development, and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or eligibility to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and coordinate with tax team members on complex issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.

CLA is currently seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our Northern Minnesota offices. Locations include: St. Cloud, Alexandria, Monticello and Brainerd.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Tax Senior Associate role:

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients

What you will need:

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have an active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or are eligible to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement to obtain a CPA license.
• You have at least 2 years’ experience as an associate in public accounting.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
