Job summary

Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC is seeking an Experienced Equipment Operator to perform a variety of duties operating heavy equipment and machinery on asphalt projects. You will work closely with the crew to meet production goals while maintaining a strong safety culture.

The role requires manual labor, site communication, and routine equipment inspections. CDL may be preferred, and travel to multiple sites is possible. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• : High school diploma or GED preferred.
• : CDL license preferred (may be required).
• : 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.
• : Ability to speak, read and write English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (e.g., trucks, rollers, pavers) to apply asphalt per specs.
• Follow Foreman/Superintendent guidance to meet production goals.
• Maintain safety by adhering to PPE rules and company policies.
• Coordinate with crew and communicate site status.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; report malfunctions.
• Travel to job sites and support various projects as needed.
