Sunland Asphalt is seeking an Experienced Equipment Operator to perform physical tasks including operating heavy equipment and power tools for applying asphalt products at various job sites in Las Vegas, NV. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork with Foreman and crew leaders to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and some related experience, with the ability to communicate clearly on site and follow safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience is preferred.
• Ability to speak read and write English is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate heavy equipment such as trucks, rollers, pavers to apply asphalt according to job specifications.
• Follow Foreman and Supervisor directions to daily production schedule and activities.
• Maintain safety policies and PPE and act as safety ambassador on site.
• Communicate effectively with paver operator, truck drivers and ground crew to coordinate work.
• Inspect, clean and maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor.
