Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Piney Flats, TN is seeking an experienced Structures Mechanic to perform disassembly, inspection, repair, and fabrication on aircraft structures. You’ll work from detailed manuals and customer specifications, supporting Bell’s aviation legacy.

The role emphasizes precise measurements, fabrication of components, and timely documentation, with overtime as needed. A&P background and Bell experience are valued; tools must be provided by the worker.

Qualifications

• 2 years of aircraft mechanic experience, including structures work.
• High school diploma or GED required; FAA A&P certificate preferred.
• Maintenance experience on Bell models or Bell field courses preferred.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, blueprints, and detailed documents.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly and reassembly of aircraft; perform inspections and respond to Service Bulletins.
• Carry out major and minor repairs/alterations to aircraft structure (sheet metal/composites).
• Fabricate mounting brackets; measure, drill, modify structures without damage.
• Document all work accurately and timely.
• Work overtime as required.
