Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Piney Flats, TN is seeking a Structures Mechanic to join the Aircraft Services team. You’ll perform disassembly/reassembly, inspections, repairs and fabrications on aircraft structures per data and customer specifications.

The role requires 2+ years of structures experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read blueprints and manuals. You must provide your own tools; Bell offers competitive pay, PTO, vacation, holidays, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as aircraft mechanic with structures experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• FAA A&P certificate preferred.
• Maintenance experience on Bell commercial models or Bell field maintenance courses preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow detailed documents, manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to work in a team with strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly and reassembly of aircraft and scheduled inspections.
• Perform major and minor repairs to aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composites.
• Fabricate mounting brackets and modify structures per specs.
• Document work accurately and timely.
• Work overtime as required.
