Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Piney Flats, TN is seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to join the Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Paint Team. You will refine helicopters and related parts, performing prep, masking, and paint application under supervision.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in aircraft or industrial painting, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work a 4x10 day shift with overtime. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 2 years of experience in aircraft or industrial painting.
Ability to work 4x10 hour shifts and overtime.
Strong surface preparation and sealant/proseal expertise.
Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
Team player in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Clean, sand, mask, and buff aircraft and/or aircraft parts for paint with supervision.
Mix, apply, and smooth cosmetic fillers with supervision.
Mix and spray aircraft with supervision.
Spray primer and paint aircraft interiors and parts (including cowlings).
May clear coat aircraft parts (to include cowlings) and aircraft belly with supervision.
Maintain inventory of hazardous items.
Properly use PPE as required, to include respirator, and PPE for hazardous materials.
