Job summary

Essner Manufacturing, based in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Machine Operator to run CNC routers and waterjets for aerospace components. You will set up, monitor, and adjust machines to maintain high precision and quality across multiple parts.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, familiarity with 3,4,5 axis setups, and experience with Mazak/Fadal/Okuma/Haas controllers. On-site, with benefits, PTO, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Water Jets and Router to produce aerospace parts.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
• Pull programs from DXF catalog to machine controller.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust controls as needed.
• Set up and operate machine/tools on trial runs to verify accuracy.
• Indicate X and Y and adjust indication as necessary.
• Make feed rate adjustments as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain organization of jobs and material inventory in the work center.
• Understand cutting speeds, garnet types and water pressure.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve machining issues.
• Perform cleanup and basic maintenance tasks.
• ERP/MRP experience is a plus.
• Read and interpret blueprints; basic program reading using MS Windows and file downloads.
• ITAR-compliant role requiring U.S. person status.
