Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services in Delaware is seeking a skilled pipe welder to join our field crew. The role requires performing 6G welding in multiple positions, reading blueprints, and welding with TIG GTAW on carbon steel and stainless steel, while maintaining strict safety standards.

The ideal candidate may have NCCER certification and 3–5+ years of experience, with the ability to work in a physically demanding construction environment and adhere to Zero Harm / KeepSafe procedures.

Qualifications

• 6G pipe welding in multiple positions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
• Able to pass a 6G welding certification test.
• Strong TIG (GTAW) welding on carbon steel and stainless steel.
• 3–5+ years of commercial or industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
• NCCER certification preferred.
• Physically able to work in a construction environment.
• Commitment to safety and PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6G pipe welding in multiple positions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
• Prepare, bevel, and grind pipe edges before welding.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, safety, and structural integrity.
• Install fabricated pipe and equipment when required.
• Work safely and follow all jobsite safety rules and PPE requirements.
