JENNMAR Services is currently seeking experienced Underground Miner / Laborers to join our West Elk Mine team in Somerset, Colorado. Qualified candidates must have previous underground mining experience and a strong understanding of underground mine safety and operations.

This role supports daily mining activities, assists crews, handles materials and equipment, and maintains a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have underground mining experience.
• Experience in underground coal mine preferred.
• Current MSHA training or able to complete training.
• Ability to work safely in an underground environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties in an underground coal mine.
• Assist underground mining crews with daily operations and tasks.
• Move materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow all mine safety procedures and MSHA regulations.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and equipment concerns.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.

JENNMAR Services is currently seeking experienced Underground Miner / Laborers to join our team at West Elk Mine in Somerset, Colorado. Qualified candidates must have previous underground mining experience and a strong understanding of underground mine safety and operations.

This position supports daily underground mining activities, assists mining crews, handles materials and equipment, and maintains a safe and productive work environment. We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious individuals who can work effectively as part of a team and contribute their underground mining experience to daily operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties in an underground coal mine.
• Assist underground mining crews with daily operations and assigned tasks.
• Move materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow all mine safety procedures, company policies, and MSHA regulations.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and equipment concerns.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.

Qualifications

• Previous underground mining experience required.
• Experience working in an underground coal mine preferred.
• Current MSHA training or the ability to complete required training.
• Strong knowledge of underground mine safety practices.
• Dependable, hardworking, and able to work well with a crew.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in an underground mining environment.
• Must meet all site access, pre-employment screening, and mine safety requirements.
• Work Schedule
• Full-time position.
• Schedule and shifts based on mine operational needs.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
