Responsibilities

• Support operational planning for outages, changes, and special projects.
• Promote and enforce MSHA regulations and site safety policies.
• Coordinate required underground safety training and certifications.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure employees have required PPE and safety equipment.
• Serve as main contact for underground employees and mine supervisors.
• Assist with coaching, discipline, and performance evaluations.
• Support recruiting and retention for underground labor positions.
• Maintain project reports, staffing metrics, and documentation.

Jennmar Services is looking for an experienced project coordinator in Marissa, IL. These are full time positions with competitive pay and benefits available.

The Underground Coal Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating day-to-day underground mining operations, workforce management, safety compliance, customer communication, and project execution. This position serves as a key link between mine management, contractors, staffing personnel, and company leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily underground labor and operational activities to support production goals.
• Communicate withmine managementregardingstaffing needs, scheduling, and workforce performance.

Qualifications
