Aquent Talent is seeking an Experience Engineer to help build high-quality digital experiences for millions of users in the financial services space. You will develop enterprise web experiences with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, translating designs into accessible, responsive interfaces.

This temporary, hourly role offers collaboration with designers and engineers in an Agile environment, contributing to a scalable design system, CMS integrations, performance optimization, and governance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in building modern web apps with React/Next.js.
• Experience creating reusable front-end components and clean code.
• Experience integrating headless CMS to frontend environments.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript patterns.
• Understanding WCAG and semantic HTML practices.
• REST/GraphQL API integrations and Git workflows.
• Agile delivery experience and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise web experiences with NextJS, React, TypeScript.
• Build reusable UI components aligned to a robust design system.
• Translate UX/visual designs into accessible, responsive web experiences.
• Partner with designers, content authors, BA, and engineers to deliver solutions.
• Configure content models in headless CMS environments and API integrations.
• Optimize sites for performance, accessibility, SEO, and cross-browser support.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot defects and styling/content rendering issues.
• Create technical docs and implementation guidance.
