Job summary

Gensler's Brand Experience Design Studio is seeking an Experience Designer who can think strategically and execute across 2D/3D, digital/physical, and scales from intimate moments to city-scale frameworks. You will design experiences that blend story, space, interaction, and technology, while developing ideas through prototyping and iteration.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of professional experience in experience design, exhibition design, environmental design, interaction design, architecture, industrial design, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work across experiences, environments, and/or interactive systems.
• Excellent visual communication skills (sketching, diagrams, modeling, storytelling).
• Experience with common design and prototyping tools.
• Clear communicator who can explain ideas to team members and clients alike.

Responsibilities

• Design experiences that integrate story, space, interaction, and technology.
• Develop ideas through research, prototyping, visualization, and iteration.
• Contribute to both strategic thinking and hands-on making, from early ideas through execution.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teammates including designers, architects, technologists, fabricators, and clients.
• Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling experiences and design artifacts.
• Take ownership of your work, manage priorities, and push projects forward with confidence and curiosity.
