Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a dedicated Expense Control and Continuous Improvement Manager to support the General Manager and operations in cost control and accountability for all targets. The candidate should have a strong accounting or systems background and excellent interpersonal skills to implement improvements.

The role requires up to 20% travel, work in plant environments, and collaboration with plant management, divisional teams, and corporate expense control to share best practices and drive KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of directly related experience is needed.
• Strong analytical abilities, accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent problem solving and inter-personal skills required.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and computer systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Drives annual budget achievement for the plant.
• Leads cost savings ideas and tracks actual savings performance.
• Partners with local plant and divisional teams on cost savings and KPIs.
• Collaborates with corporate and other plants to share best practices.
• Utilizes QlikView to support and track plant KPIs.
• Supports process improvement initiatives and 5S program deployment.
