Work Hours:

Full-time, various daylight and evening shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

1. Assemble and expedite patient meals.
2. Operate in a team with other patient service personnel.
3. Assign hostess and dietary worker duties daily.
4. Deliver trays to patient units promptly.
5. Prepare between-meal patient nourishments.
6. Serve as liaison between hostess, call center, and production.
7. Handle day-to-day problem solving with staff.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding of portion standards, sanitation, and therapeutic diets.
• 3-5 years experience in a high-volume, multi-service institute.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of employment, if applicable.

Preferred:

• One-year hospital experience.
