Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno is seeking an Expeditor/Runner for the Manhattan Deli. You will bridge the kitchen and service staff, ensure timely plating, and maintain communication to deliver a great dining experience.

Requirements include at least 6 months of food service experience, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and a teamwork mindset in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must adhere to grooming standards.

• Properly placing trays and positions food at table.
• Perform posted side work and other duties as directed by management.

Overview:

Come join Team Atlantis! We are currently accepting application for an Expeditor/Runner in the Manhattan Deli. The Expeditor acts as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the waitstaff by putting the finishing touch on all of our food items and maintaining communication with both our servers and line cooks to make sure our guests have a great dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that order tickets are properly placed.
• Responsible for timing of food orders and alerts management if there is a backlog.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications:

• Requires carrying serving trays weighing up to 15 lbs.
• May require lifting up to 40 lbs.
