The role emphasizes maintaining stock, optimizing receiving and loading, and partnering with Transportation to improve backhauls, with benefits starting early and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years purchasing and/or customer service and administrative support experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a work level.

Responsibilities

• Place and monitor purchase orders to maximize in-stock levels and balance freight costs.
• Partner with DC functions to maintain operating targets.
• Optimize receiving, storage, picking and loading operations.
• Maintain inventory levels to minimize obsolescence and spoilage.
• Coordinate with Transportation to optimize backhauls.
• Manage inter-center transfers, allocations, and quality issues.
• This position may have additional duties and special projects.
