Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking an Expeditor II in San Antonio, TX to manage purchase orders and optimize stock levels. You will partner with DC teams to meet targets and improve receiving, storage, picking, and loading operations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, 2+ years in purchasing or admin support, and proficiency with MS Office. This position supports a safety-conscious, team-driven warehouse environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of purchasing, customer service, or admin support experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access).
Ability to read, write, and understand English at work level.

Responsibilities

Place and monitor purchase orders to optimize stock levels.
Coordinate with distribution center functions to meet targets.
Improve receiving, storage, picking, and loading operations.
Maintain inventory levels to minimize obsolescence.
Coordinate with Transportation for backhauls.
Handle inter-center transfers and supply issues.
May perform special projects.
