Job summary

Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking an Expediter in Chicago, IL. You will coordinate material movement, assist with loading, and support efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing or warehousing, familiarity with SAP, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain safety throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems such as SAP preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic computer functions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist crane operators with truck loading by performing setup activities and checks.
• Perform visual inspections of materials prior to shipment for quality and accuracy.
• Support warehouse operations by understanding inventory flow and shipping requirements.
• Use warehouse management software to support daily activities.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Assist with material handling including lifting, moving, and staging materials.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Follow safety policies and regulatory requirements.
