GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

To effectively plan, communicate, and follow up with material delivery requirement. To ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Contact suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery of the material ordered.
• Track and record all expediting and notify buyers of scheduler slips.
• Maintains hot list by supplier and vendor and follow through to ensure material availability.
• Reviews procurement reports and daily material shortage reports to identify potential and actual material shortages.
• Communicate with internal and external parties to resolve material availability issues.
• Updates shortages reports and purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery information.
• Works closely with purchasing, planning & scheduling, on material re‑planning, including material schedule in and schedule out.
• Works with both internal and external customers and uses reporting systems.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
