Job Summary

The restaurant Expeditor ensures the quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner. They ensure food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste, and that the line is always stocked, neat, clean, and safe.

Job Responsibilities

1. Timeliness: Ensures kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and sent out together by directing servers and/or food runners.
2. Pace: Maintains a brisk, steady, and organized workflow without unnecessary steps.
3. Recipe Adherence: Ensures proper presentation of each plate and the appropriate temperature.
4. Cleanliness: Maintains the kitchen and all equipment in a "like new" condition. Practice clean as you go!
