Job summary

Tin Lizzie Indianapolis One, LLC is seeking an Expeditor to ensure timely preparation of orders and accurate fulfillment of guest requests. You will coordinate with service and kitchen teams to expedite food to to-go, dining room, and bar areas while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate has kitchen experience in high-volume environments, strong communication and leadership skills, and a valid Food Safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow Employee Handbook standards and expectations.
• Punctual check-in to General Manager/Department Manager.
• Perform opening set up, side work, and closing duties.

• Maintain a neat, orderly work area and professional appearance.
• Pass mandatory tests with 90% or higher.
• Fulfill duties per performance standards.
• Assist with other related tasks as assigned by management.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high quality food and service.

• Utilize expo tickets to maintain workflow, control cost/waste, and drive sales.
• Organize ticket flow in expo area.

Reports to: General Manager/Department Manager

Job Summary: Our mission is to provide an innovative and entertaining dining experience which will compel our guests to become raving fans and create brand loyalty. Join us as a guest, leave as a friend. Expeditors are responsible for ensuring that all food orders are prepared within a timely manner and according to guest special requests and company recipes. Communicates with the service and heart of house teams to expedite all food deliveries to to-go, dining room, and bar areas.

Minimum Qualifications

• Kitchen experience required, preferably in a high-volume atmosphere
• Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and fully engaged, service minded attitude
• Food Safety certification, as state law requires
• Able to stand for 10 hours
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication (with or without accommodation)
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English
• Must have reliable transportation
• Basic computer usage skills
• Organization and Time Management Skills
• Must be alert to the Team member and Guest's needs
• Must possess Excellent Communication Skills
• Must possess strong leadership abilities

• Ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation of food items.
• Serve hot food hot and cold food cold every time.
• Manage the preparation of all re-cooks and special order requests.
• Expedite the service of food to to-go, dining room, and bar areas.
• Utilize the expo tickets effectively in order to maintain the flow of service, control cost/waste, and build sales.
• Organize the table orders in the expo area according to the tickets.
• Complete specific side work and station maintenance.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Support the service team in a way as to create new and repeat business and avoid guest complaints.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.
