The Expeditor understands Procurement and Supply Chain (PSC) processes and systems to improve and maintain them. He/she is responsible for tracking orders, handling delivery delays, coordinating with the warehouse manager, and ensuring all orders are shipped. The expeditor ensures the company has the supplies and inventory needed to operate according to schedule. Responsibilities include communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies and problem-solving to minimize the impact of late shipments.

Responsibilities:

1. Expedites deliveries to meet business needs and schedules.
2. Updates purchase orders with promise dates, delivery locations, and changes.
3. Develops and communicates on-time delivery goals for key suppliers.
4. Contacts vendors to verify information and respond to inquiries.
5. Resolves issues or refers them to appropriate parties.
6. Collaborates with management to develop and communicate corrective action plans for supplier compliance.
7. Participates in implementation and special projects as assigned.
8. Investigates and resolves significant matters on behalf of management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent work experience (4-6 years).
• Proficient in MS Office, including word processing and spreadsheets.
